Third Alsakan Conflict

The Third Alsakan Conflict represents one episode in a much larger series of hostilities between Coruscant and Alsakan, an era which traces its origins back to 17,000 BBY. Hostilities commenced around 14,500 BBY with the Commenor Run Campaign, and battles occurred on planets such as Tepasi, Alderaan, and Kattada.

In 14,450 BBY, the Cleansing of Rucapar resulted in the destruction of the famed Alsakan Mosaics located in the city of Rucapar on Alsakan. The central portion of the mosaic was a prominent feature in the city square, extending towards five equally spaced mountains. Only fragments of the mosaics remained after the conflict.

Defeating their rivals, the Duros Red Credit Brigade, the Machinists of Nikato established an independent enclave known as Nikato's Bootheel on Raxus Prime during 14,300 BBY.
