The Thyferran Home Defense Corps represented a defensive military organization. It was established under the leadership of Ysanne Isard, a warlord, while she governed the planet of Thyferra.
The Home Defense Force was created using resources from both the Imperial Navy and the Army, incorporating elements like TIE/IN interceptors. It also included volunteer personnel from the Xucphra Corporation. Its primary mission was to safeguard Isard's dominion over the bacta-manufacturing world throughout the Bacta War. Erisi Dlarit commanded the corps during this conflict. Following the Battle of Thyferra, the THDC was dissolved and subsequently substituted by the Thyferran Aerospace Defense Force.
