Tion, a planet of some note, existed within the Outer Rim Territories' Tion Hegemony.
This world, Tion, lent its name to the Tion Cluster, despite being a relatively insignificant planet within it. Its surface was primarily covered by a vast, planet-wide ocean. Two bright cyan stars provided it light as it orbited them. Additionally, three industrialized moons circled the planet, one of which housed a prominent spaceport.
Tion, once a part of the Kingdom of Cron, was later incorporated into Xim's Empire. Following the empire's downfall around 25,100 BBY, Tion continued its existence as a world within the Honorable Union of Desevro and Tion. Eventually, it became integrated into the Tion Hegemony when the Tion Cluster aligned itself with the Galactic Republic.
During the waning years of the Republic, the worlds of the Tion Cluster allied with the CIS, and subsequently became part of the Galactic Empire.
