TK-875

TK-875 was a stormtrooper clone who fought for the Galactic Empire during the era of the Galactic Civil War. During the year 0 BBY, he found himself stationed on the Empire's massive Death Star battle station when a team from the Alliance to Restore the Republic infiltrated the station with the goal of rescuing one of their prisoners, the Princess Leia Organa. After the successful rescue, inside the Death Star's Central Core Shaft, the Princess and Luke Skywalker, another member of the rescue party, were stranded behind a blast door that led to a chasm. Unbeknownst to Skywalker, he had accidentally broken the controls for a bridge that was supposed to span the gap. While the pair were stuck on a small ledge, TK-875 was among a group of three stormtroopers who engaged them in a blaster fight from a higher ledge on the opposite side of the shaft. Ultimately, Skywalker and Organa managed to swing across the gap using a grappling hook, successfully dodging TK-875's blaster fire. Later, the Alliance would destroy the Death Star above the Yavin system.

Biography

TK-875, a Human male clone, served the Galactic Empire as a stormtrooper during the Galactic Civil War, the war between the Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. By the time it was 0 BBY, he was stationed on the Imperial Death Star battle station.

TK-875 failed to prevent Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker (both pictured) from escaping the Central Core Shaft.

In that year, a group who would soon become operatives of the Alliance to Restore the Republic, including Han Solo, Chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker, infiltrated the Death Star as part of an attempt to free Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, a planet who was one of the Death Star's prisoners. Skywalker accompanied Organa towards Docking Bay 327, the hangar bay where the group had arrived aboard the YT-1300 light freighter known as the Millennium Falcon. As they moved through the station's corridors on their way to the hangar, a stormtrooper patrol noticed them, forcing them to find cover behind a blast door that led to the Death Star's Central Core Shaft. In an attempt to stop the stormtroopers from opening the door, Skywalker used his stolen stormtrooper E-11 blaster rifle to fire at the control panel next to the door, inadvertently destroying the controls for a bridge meant to cross the chasm. With Skywalker and Organa trapped on a small ledge, TK-875 was part of a trio of stormtroopers who appeared on a higher ledge across from them, firing their E-11 blaster rifles at the Alliance members. Skywalker returned fire, hitting one of the troopers, TK-119, who then fell into the shaft. As Skywalker prepared to swing across the chasm using the grappling hook from his stolen stormtrooper utility belt, Organa exchanged fire with TK-875 and the third stormtrooper, ultimately killing the latter. TK-875, now the only one left, continued to fire at the pair until they successfully swung across the shaft, avoiding his blaster fire.

Organa and the Alliance operatives escaped the Death Star and made their way to their base on the moon Yavin 4. However, the Empire had placed a tracking device on the Millennium Falcon, allowing them to follow the ship to the Yavin system. The Death Star was sent to destroy the base, but the Alliance's starfighter squadrons launched a counterattack against the superweapon. Skywalker, flying a T-65 X-wing starfighter, fired two proton torpedoes that hit the Death Star's reactor core and exploded, destroying the station.

Personality and traits

TK-875 wore the standard stormtrooper armor and carried an E-11 blaster rifle.
