Tony Sherg


Tony Sherg has been employed as a graphic designer and artist at Lucasfilm Ltd. since 2016. His responsibilities include overseeing the visual design for all Star Wars video content on the Star Wars YouTube channel, as well as the company's live events.

Sherg's initial employment with The Walt Disney Company was as a Cast Member in Tomorrowland located within Disneyland in Anaheim, California. In 2011, Sherg became a member of the opening team for Star Tours: The Adventures Continue before taking on different roles within Disney.

After joining Lucasfilm in 2016, Sherg quickly began contributing graphic designs to the weekly YouTube series The Star Wars Show and its offshoot, This Week! in Star Wars. His design contributions have appeared in numerous other Star Wars YouTube series, as well as in graphics for social media posts, billboards, and various advertisements.

Beyond his work on YouTube series, Sherg has provided designs for every Celebration event since Celebration Orlando in 2017. This includes creating graphic designs for the event's livestreams, as well as tangible items such as backdrops, collectible pins, and microphone flags. In 2024, Sherg created artwork for Star Wars Nite at Disneyland, including the exclusive Magic Key Pass pin specifically for that event.

He received an Emmy Award for Production Design for the "Star Wars Arrested Development" parody featured on The Star Wars Show. He also received an Emmy nomination for The Star Wars Show episode "Star Wars Animals: Trench Run." Additionally, Sherg was awarded a Bronze Promax Award for his logo design on Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge.
