Tormentor device

The Tormentor device functioned as a tool for torture. It saw usage by the Sith Empire throughout the Cold War and the Galactic War against the Galactic Republic. Chaskar tried to compel the Hero of Tython, whom he intended to be his new Sith apprentice, to employ the device on Kira Carsen, the Jedi's one-time Padawan. However, the Hero had previously overcome the influence of the Sith Emperor and utilized Force persuaded to make Chaskar depart.
