Tough Squadron

Tough Squadron was one of a pair of starfighter units, the other being Savage Squadron, that consisted of smugglers hailing from Dubrillion. These pilots flew Lando Calrissian's cobbled-together starfighters known as uglies. This squadron participated in both the Dubrillion evacuation and the Battle of Dantooine during the Yuuzhan Vong War.

Being made up of ships with weaker weapons and no shields, Tough Squadron was the weaker of the two squadrons. The squadron included at least two TYE-wings and an X-ceptor, as well as a Gamorrean who served as an aft gunner on an original Y-wing. The pilots of Tough Squadron sported stylish red scarves as a way to boost their spirits. By the time the order to evacuate Dantooine was given, Tough Squadron had been completely wiped out.
