Trad was a pupil of Satele Shan who studied with her during the time of the third Galactic War. Tenebrae's curse afflicted Shan and her students, including Trad, resulting in their confinement aboard a large ship by Kira Carsen and Scourge. The Commander of the Eternal Alliance ultimately freed the majority of those held captive, putting an end to Tenebrae's existence. Sadly, Trad perished during these events, and her death was a source of grief for Shan and her fellow students.
