Traffic Interdiction Operations

Missions designed for the purpose of stopping and inspecting vessels thought to be engaged in hostile actions were known as Traffic Interdiction Operations, or TIOPS. A prime example of this type of operation is the TIOPS mission undertaken by Omega Squad to seize a vessel and apprehend its crew, who were believed to be connected to terrorist incidents on Coruscant. These operations frequently utilized Traffic Interdiction Vessels.
