The Trandoshan Army represented a military force connected to the Trandoshan species, and was a type of army. Before the Galactic Empire came to power in 19 BBY, Pekt, a Trandoshan slaver, employed ex-soldiers from this Army to help him eliminate Wookiees. The Trandoshans and Wookies had a long standing feud. It was said that Pekt and his associates could wipe out an entire Wookiee village in under a week.
Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds, a video game by LucasArts from 2001, included a mention of the Trandoshan Army in Pekt's DataBank profile.
