TransGalMeg Industries, Inc. was a highly varied enterprise, most famously recognized for its production of starships.
Situated on Narg within the Rayter sector, TransGalMeg engaged in intense competition with Tagge Co. across various markets, with particular emphasis on resource extraction and the establishment of colonies.
To avoid the high costs associated with external shipping companies, the corporation began producing transport vessels for its own use. The designs became well-regarded due to their substantial size, high speed, and robust construction. This popularity spurred a significant redirection of the corporation's resources towards the advancement of starship technology and manufacturing.

During the period of the Clone Wars, TransGalMeg sided with the Galactic Republic. As a result, the company was awarded a profitable subcontract from Kuat Systems Engineering to produce the hyperspace transport ring used by both the Delta-7 Aetheresprite-class and Eta-2 Actis-class interceptors.
However, it is noteworthy that the company was also responsible for the creation of the Bulwark Mark I, which was subsequently manufactured by the Techno Union and employed within the Bulwark Fleet.
The company's position during the Galactic Civil War was less straightforward. Under the guidance of Chief Administrator Braig Farool, TransGalMeg firmly allied itself with the Empire. Following the Empire's discovery of Narg in 3 BBY, TransGalMeg was granted provisional protectorate authority over the planet. The Empire's intention was that by allowing TransGalMeg to govern the planet for a decade, it would afford the planet's notably xenophobic Human population an opportunity to prepare for integration into the broader galactic society. Consequently, the Chief Administrator served as Narg's planetary governor and relocated the corporation's headquarters from Pako Ramoon in the Grohl sector to Narg. Despite its affiliation with the Empire, TransGalMeg also supplied starships to both Black Sun and the Rebel Alliance during the height of the New Order. TransGalMeg also produced the Xiytiar-class transport, one of which, known as the Hyperspace Marauder, was owned by Lo Khan.
