The travois represents a rudimentary form of transport that relies on being pulled across the terrain. In essence, it's a simple conveyance for moving individuals or items. When Harp Allor, an Apprentice Legislator, sustained an ankle injury during a pathfinding lesson on Alderaan, Princess Leia Organa and her fellow classmates constructed a travois to aid in her relocation.
