Pathfinding

Harp Allor's birth occurred in 20 BBY. As a participant in the Apprentice Legislature, Harp Allor took part in a pathfinding lesson orchestrated by Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan. Her classmates included Princess Leia Organa, Chassellon Stevis, Sssamm Ashsssen, Amilyn Holdo, Kier Domadi, and an Ithorian, alongside numerous other students, all under the guidance of Chief Pangie from the Chandrilan Pathfinding Corps. Following a five-hour hike, the group discovered a hoversled. Pangie informed the students that it was hers and challenged them to find their way back to the chalet before nightfall, or face expulsion from the class, after which she departed.

During their gradual return journey, as Holdo searched for snow owls, disagreements arose regarding their pace. Allor, moving ahead too quickly, slipped on ice, resulting in a broken left ankle. This incident sparked further debate within the group, with some advocating for assisting Allor while others preferred to continue onward, citing that each student possessed a tracker that could be used to locate Allor later. Organa, Domadi, Ashsssen, and Holdo remained with Allor, while Stevis led the remainder of the class forward. The quartet managed to splint and bandage Allor's ankle, placing her on a travois to facilitate her transport back to the chalet. When Holdo jokingly remarked about encountering mortal peril, Allor became tearful, apologizing for impeding the group's progress. Domadi offered comfort, and they soon reached a snow-covered slope. Holdo suggested creating a toboggan using a tent, with Ashsssen securing it.

Stevis and his group arrived at sunset, only to be astonished upon entering the great room. They found that the five had arrived before them with the injured Allor and were resting by the hearth and drinking mocoa, Allor resting her left foot on a sleeping Ashsssen in the comfiest chair by the fire, floaty cream on the tip of her nose and a bacta bag on her foot. Pangie also reprimanded Stevis and the others for abandoning Harp.

Legislature events

Following the recovery of Allor's broken ankle, she and her fellow Apprentice Legislators were present at the opening of the Apprentice Legislature, where Wilhuff Tarkin served as the guest speaker, followed by a reception celebrating Tarkin's promotion to Grand Moff. Senator Winmey Lenz, Allor's sponsor, informed her that he would introduce her to Tarkin, a prospect that excited her greatly. Allor waved to the senator, who returned the gesture.

At a subsequent event, Allor and Organa engaged in a dispute with Domadi, who criticized the Imperial Senate's lack of influence. Allor defended the Senate's impact, supporting her sponsor Senator Lenz, with Organa joining in to defend her father, Senator Bail Organa. Both asserted that their superiors were dedicated workers.

Allor participated in the inaugural session of the Apprentice Legislature on the following day, which commenced with introductions before addressing the primary issue of selecting a location for a new academy of aeronautical engineering and design. Allor advocated for the planet Harloff Minor, but the decision ultimately favored Arreyel, nominated by Organa.

However, the young Legislatures soon discovered that the Empire had manipulated the entire assignment, using the academy as a pretext to seize a radiation source beneath the planet's surface, shielded by rock, to power factories. The population was granted six weeks to evacuate without compensation, with Grand Moff Tarkin reportedly stating that they were fortunate to avoid fines for concealing the radiation source from the Empire. The Apprentice Legislature received a special commendation for recommending Arreyell.

Seventeenth birthday

Allor celebrated her seventeenth birthday on Coruscant, with Senator Lenz personally securing the venue, a water park, as a gift. Her friends, including Organa, attended the party, although the princess admitted to feeling detached and mechanical throughout the day. It marked Organa's first outing since learning about Arreyell, and she continued to grapple with guilt.
