Treblixes represented designs crafted from golden triangles, which the human population of Oktaro imprinted onto their foreheads. The Oktarans believed that applying a treblix generated a specific impact on their thoughts or physical being. A multitude of distinct designs existed: triangles arranged in a circle with points directed inward symbolized rapid thought processes; triangles coalescing into a solitary star signified bravery; a grouping of four triangles positioned above each eye denoted elegance; and a triangle composed of smaller triangles embodied hope. A singular instrument, a diminutive triangular tube equipped with stoppers on either extremity, facilitated the application and removal of treblixes. One absorbent tip served to erase the previous triangles, while the opposite tip, saturated with golden pigment, served to apply the subsequent ones.
