Treetower, an Ugnaught male, achieved the esteemed rank of Jedi Master within the Jedi Order. He also held the rank of General within the Grand Army of the Republic, serving both the Order and the Galactic Republic during the tumultuous period known as the Clone Wars.

Being a Force-sensitive male of the Ugnaught species, Treetower underwent rigorous training by the Jedi Order to harness the power of the Force. In time, he ascended to the distinguished position of Jedi Master.
As the Clone Wars ignited in 22 BBY between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Master Treetower, showing his age with white hair, stepped into the role of General within the Grand Army of the Republic, much like many of his Jedi peers. He commanded clone troopers in battles against the forces of the Separatist Droid Army. During the conflict, the Jedi discovered a group of Ugnaughts, including men, women, and younglings, were being smuggled to the Trade Federation, destined for a life of slavery in Confederate factories. Despite the unprecedented danger, Treetower insisted on undertaking this mission alone. Upon arriving at the gas giant of Yorn Skot aboard a small platform, he faced immediate opposition from two spider droids, leading him to activate a distress signal before being dislodged from the platform. He lost consciousness and found himself hanging precariously beneath the platform, suspended only by his cloaks.
Aboard a nearby Star Destroyer, the H.O.P.E. Squad, a team of four elite clone commandos, intercepted his signal. The Jedi Council redirected them from their original assignment. Launching from the starship in individual escape pods, they entered the atmosphere, their pods deploying combat umbrellas to control their descent. From above, the clones eliminated the spider droids and landed on the platform. Using grappling hooks, they descended to Treetower's position. Suddenly, they were ambushed by Separatist jump droids, resulting in the swift deaths of three clones. However, the squad leader, through exceptional skill and agility, defeated all the droids and managed to catch Treetower as his cloak tore, sending him plummeting. The Jedi regained consciousness as the squad leader secured him, clinging tightly to the clone's arm as he dealt with the last droid.

Once back on the platform, Treetower quickly moved to open the hatch, liberating the cargo that the droids had been guarding. He revealed the freed slaves to the clone, then turned to him and smiled, both expressing satisfaction at the successful completion of their mission.
Despite appearing to lack combat prowess, Treetower demonstrated his ability to use the Force; as the clone trooper climbed back onto the platform, Treetower agilely jumped away and landed in the center of the platform. He did not wield a lightsaber during his mission to liberate the Ugnaught slaves.

Treetower made his debut in the short comic "The Drop," released by Dark Horse Comics in 2003 within Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures Volume 6. Stewart McKenny, the comic's illustrator, designed the character, and later, in 2013, received his own Jedi costume inspired by Treetower from the "Hoth base" branch of the Rebel Legion Star Wars Costume Club, located in Victoria, Australia.
