Treve

During the Clone Wars, a clone trooper lieutenant known by the nickname Treve served within the ranks of the Grand Army of the Republic. In 21 BBY, while under the command of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, he participated in a battle that took place on the planet of Kothlis. While Treve and Kenobi were inside a Bothan Spynet facility on Kothlis, discussing the number of casualties they had sustained, a squad of Separatist remote droids infiltrated the location and initiated an assault. Treve acted to shield the General from the attack, but the clone ultimately died from blaster fire discharged by the droid attackers.

Biography

Treve, a clone trooper lieutenant, bore a nickname and was one of the countless clones derived from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. He underwent training on the planet Kamino to become a soldier within the Grand Army of the Republic. In 21 BBY, the second year of the Clone Wars, Treve was dispatched to the planet Kothlis as a member of a battle group. Their objective was to thwart a Confederate invasion spearheaded by the cyborg General Grievous. The mission was made particularly challenging by Grievous's newly developed jamming computer virus, which effectively disabled all Republic communications, with the exception of helmet comms.

Despite the difficulties, Treve was assigned to Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi's unit with the task of safeguarding a facility located on Kothlis that served as a component of the Bothan Spynet. While inside the facility, Treve provided Kenobi with a report detailing the casualties they had suffered in the battle. However, their discussion was interrupted when a squad of remote droids forced their way into the facility and launched an attack on Kenobi. While attempting to protect Kenobi from danger, Treve was killed by multiple blaster shot wounds inflicted by the droids.

Personality and traits

Treve possessed a combination of loyalty and caution, qualities that earned him the confidence of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was himself known for his cautious nature. Like his fellow clones from Kamino, he was approximately 1.83 meters in height.

Behind the scenes

Treve's inaugural appearance took place in the novel Clone Wars Gambit: Stealth, which constitutes the first installment of the Clone Wars Gambit duology. The book was penned by author Karen Miller and released to the public in 2010.
