Trevim Dadeferron, the initial son born to Dixon Dadeferron, a prosperous landowner hailing from Kail, shared his father's critical view of the Corporate Sector Authority. This sentiment arose from an ongoing disagreement concerning land-use rights. In contrast to his younger sibling, Torm, Trevim was positioned to receive the Kail Ranges as an inheritance should their father die. Nevertheless, Torm resolved to alter this arrangement.
Following the passing of Trevim and Torm's mother, the brothers, along with their father, journeyed to the resort planet of Maryo. During this visit, without the knowledge of his father or brother, Torm was approached by representatives of the Authority's Security Police. He then consented to spy on Dixon and Trevim for them. Not long after, Trevim, his father, and several other family members—all vocal critics of the Authority's involvement in their land usage—were abducted by the Authority and confined within the Stars' End prison.
Simultaneously, Torm gained complete authority over the Kail Ranges and persisted in his espionage activities for the Authority. Exploiting the vanishings of Trevim and Dixon, Torm managed to penetrate the central command of an organization led by Rekkon, an academic devoted to locating individuals abducted for their resistance to the Authority. Despite eventually murdering Rekkon, Torm's attempts to sabotage the group were defeated by Han Solo, who expelled him into space. Subsequently, Han Solo liberated Trevim and Dixon, along with numerous other detainees, from Stars' End.
