During 3630 BBY, after ARIES ensnared the Alliance's leaders on Iokath, Theron Shan chose the Tributary as a provisional headquarters for Alliance troops stationed on Iokath, believing it to be a safe area. Nevertheless, shortly after the final members of the Alliance reached the site, droids launched an assault originating from the Chromium Garden nearby. The Alliance Commander together with Vette then undertook a search for an alternative escape route within the Necropolis, and the whole group subsequently utilized a Colossus droid to repel smaller droids outside, affording them the necessary time to flee via a shuttle located on the Tributary's rooftop.
