The Tsevukans were a sentient race, known for their ferocity, who originated on the world of Tsevuka. This planet was located in the Outer Rim Territories, and the Tsevukans themselves were a species known to ride kivaroa, beasts that stood several meters high. Following the Galactic Empire's seizure of their planetary home, the Tsevukans mounted a resistance. Despite assurances from the general in charge of the invasion to Wilhuff Tarkin, the Grand Moff and governor of the Outer Rim, that the planet was under control, the Tsevukans remained a danger to the Empire when Tarkin arrived to assess the situation personally.
