A Whiphid bounty hunter named Tulkh, who identified as male, worked for the reconstituted Sith Empire throughout the Cold War. Tulkh joined the ranks of numerous bounty hunters tasked with locating and retrieving the Murakami orchid. Ultimately, he succeeded in delivering the authentic orchid to Darth Scabrous. Following the orchid's delivery, Darth Scabrous incorporated it as the final component in a virus. Although Tulkh managed to evade infection from the Sith students, he was, in the moments before his escape, infected by the virus through the spittle of an infected tauntaun. Consequently, he was ejected into the vacuum of space, where he perished.
