Tundan robes

Robes from Tund, also known as Tundan robes, were a specific style of attire favored by the Sorcerers of Tund. This group was a splinter faction of Sith sorcerers, tracing their lineage back to Kissai outcasts deemed heretical, as well as Sith-Human hybrid refugees. These individuals sought refuge on Tund following the post–Great Hyperspace War counterinvasion. These substantial robes, varying in shades from dark red to a somber gray, were characterized by their complete concealment of the wearer's body and face, achieved through layers of wrappings and a cowl resembling a headdress.

One notable figure who donned Tundan robes was Karnak Tetsu, the leader of the Sorcerers of Tund during the Dark Wars. This Force user, known as "the Maleficent," paired the robes with his Sith amulet. Similarly, Rokur Gepta, the final Sorcerer of Tund and a Croke infiltrator, was also seen wearing Tundan robes before his destruction of the planet in 5 BBY.

Behind the scenes

While the distinct robes worn by the Sorcerers of Tund received passing mentions in several sourcebooks and reference materials, the designation "Tundan robes" was first explicitly used in Web Enhancement 5 of the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide.
