Kissai heretics

A group of heretical exiles, members of the Kissai, who were the priest caste of the Sith species, established a settlement on Tund, a flourishing Force nexus. This occurred after the Rakatan invasion of Korriban in 27,700 BBY.

These outcasts were banished from Korriban, the Sith's original homeworld. Their banishment stemmed from their interpretation of Sith King Adas's death during the invasion. They saw it as a sign from the Force to turn away from the dark side and embrace "the Unity". This concept held that all sentient life is Force-sensitive, and that true opposites do not exist. They fled Sith space aboard a stolen Rakatan ship that had a Force-powered hyperdrive. Guided by the Force, these Kissai arrived on Tund, located in the Centrality sector.

Centuries after the establishment of the Sith Empire in 6900 BBY, Tund was joined by Sith-Human half-breed colonists from the Sith Worlds. These colonists were descendants of the original heretics. During the Post–Great Hyperspace War counterinvasion of the Sith Empire, the Galactic Republic disregarded Tund. Eventually, the population of Tund gave rise to the Sorcerers of Tund during the post-Manderon period.
