Tura Sanga was a member of the Lost Tribe of Sith on the planet of Kesh, possessing Force-sensitivity. Sanga achieved notoriety as a creator of shikkars - glass weaponry employed by the Sith Tribe's members. By the time 44 ABY had arrived, one of Sanga's crafted shikkars found its way into the private collection of Sith Saber Gavar Khai. During that year, Khai gifted this weapon to his daughter, Vestara.
On the Wild Space planet of Kesh, Tura Sanga was born with Force-sensitivity. As a member of the Lost Tribe of Sith residing there, Sanga utilized the Force to manipulate glass, fashioning it into intricate, dagger-like weapons known as shikkars. Sanga's unique style in shikkar craftsmanship led to widespread recognition among the Sith Tribe's members.
Eventually, one of the shikkars crafted by Sanga became part of the personal collection belonging to Sith Saber Gavar Khai. In the year 44 ABY, Khai bestowed the shikkar upon his daughter, Vestara, with the hope that she could use it to kill either Jedi Grand Master Luke Skywalker or Skywalker's son, Ben, during their upcoming mission. Vestara immediately recognized the shikkar as a product of Sanga's work, identifying the distinctive artistic style present in the weapon's creation.
Tura Sanga, as a creator of shikkars, possessed a natural gift of Force sensitivity. This allowed Sanga to manipulate glass using the Force, transforming it into shikkars, weapons that appeared fragile but were held in high regard by the Lost Tribe of Sith. Sanga's skill in this process grew, eventually establishing Sanga as one of the most renowned shikkar-makers among the Sith Tribe on Kesh.
The character of Tura Sanga received a mention in Fate of the Jedi: Allies, the fifth book in the nine-part Fate of the Jedi series, authored by Christie Golden and published in 2010.
