The Tusken King served as the chieftain of a Sand People clan. This clan made their home on the planet of Tatooine, specifically in the vicinity of the city known as Mos Espa.
During the year 1 ABY, a spacer infiltrated the tribe. This individual absconded with several ancient artifacts that held cultural significance for the Sand People. Enraged by this act, the Tusken Raiders retaliated by launching an assault on the nearby settlement of Mos Espa in search of vengeance. Following a protracted and dangerous battle, the combined efforts of the local residents and spacers successfully repelled the Tuskens from the city. The Tusken King met his demise during this conflict. Furthermore, the Tusken King had seized control of the Tusken Bunker, a location previously under the control of the Empire.
The Tusken King appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. The Tusken King was integrated into the game as a component of the "Tusken Army" Heroic Encounter. This encounter was introduced with the release of the "Chapter 7" update on November 1, 2007.
