Twi'light Storm, penned by Lee Pickler and refined by Jae Walker, represents a standalone roleplaying game encounter set during the third year of the Living Force campaign. Its release was complemented by the online article Friendship in the Order.
On Cularin, a band of adventurers receives communication from Jedi Master Devan For'deschel. Her request is for the group to journey to Ryloth and persuade Twi'lek Jedi Master Vhiin'Thorla to accompany them back to the Almas Academy. This is to fill the lightsaber instructor role that became available after Kirlocca's passing. The adventurers make their way to Bashka on Ryloth, where they begin their search for the Jedi Master. Inside the well-known Fungus Pit cantina, the heroes become embroiled in a conflict with a band of slavers attempting to abduct several of the cantina's waitresses. Grateful for their intervention, one of the barmaids, Jacynith, offers her assistance to the heroes. Being Thorla's sister, she guides the heroes to his settlement located in the Ryloth Barrens. There, Thorla has created a sanctuary for liberated slaves. As the heroes attempt to convince Thorla to depart, the enclave comes under assault from slavers who had followed Jacynith. They successfully defend against the slavers together, but it becomes clear that Thorla's efforts on Ryloth are of great significance. As a result, the heroes go back to Cularin without the Jedi Master.
