While attempting to find refuge with his squadron in the subterranean passages of Ebaq 9, he sustained injuries from a pursuing Voxyn that was targeting Jaina Solo. Despite enduring severe wounds, he lived through the battle and was ultimately extracted from the tunnels by the New Republic fleet.
