A blaster pistol model was the personal sidearm of Scorch, who was a clone commando serving the Galactic Empire's Advanced Science Division under the rank of Clone Commander. The blaster's color scheme was predominantly black, accented with silver along the top of the barrel and as a stripe on each side. A blue section was located between the silver barrel area and the main body of the pistol, and a red stripe was present above the grip area where a soldier's hand would hold the blaster pistol. A green stripe also adorned the rear of the pistol.
Sideshow Collectibles included this blaster pistol as an accessory with their Sixth Scale Figure of Scorch, with the figure's release window scheduled between August and December of 2024. The pistol's origins are found in Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was known as the DC-15s side arm blaster. This weapon was initially mentioned on the official LucasArts website for the 2005 video game, Star Wars: Republic Commando. The blaster pistol made its debut appearance in that game and was fully identified by name in the Republic Commando Official Prima Guide, authored by Michael Knight and released on March 8, 2005. A separate blaster pistol, the DC-15s sidearm, appeared in the 2011 online game Star Wars: The Old Republic.
Within the canon continuity, the "DC-15S sidearm" was mentioned in the 2016 magazine Star Wars Helmet Collection 13. The magazine does not clarify if this is a canonization of the Old Republic weapon, the Republic Commando weapon, or a reference to the DC-15A blaster carbine, also called the "DC-15S blaster." Therefore, this article's page name remains unidentified. The Sideshow store page features numerous images of Scorch's figure on display, wielding his blaster pistol. These photos depict Scorch using the pistol both inside facilities and on the planet Wayland in the Outer Rim Territories, where he was stationed at the Mount Tantiss installation as part of the Advanced Science Division.
