A comm tech of the female persuasion served the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry. Highly skilled with transmitters, she also had a penchant for drinking and co-authoring crude poetry with the rebel trooper Hazram Namir during tedious nights spent together. The comm tech once made an offensive face with her eyes shut towards someone, and Namir later adopted this habit.
From 0 BBY to 3 ABY, the 61st saw deployment on the planet Asyrphus. Sadly, Asyrphus was attacked, leading to the massacred demise of the comm tech, her droid, and numerous other members of the 61st. The 61st didn't replace the comm tech after her death, and Namir vowed to erase her memory, though he recalled her name multiple times later.
Alexander Freed's 2015 novel, Battlefront: Twilight Company, included a mention of the comm tech.
