The desert moon, its identity unknown, was an unamed satellite circling a gaseous giant, situated close to Aridus. In the year 19 BBY, the Sith Lord Darth Vader engaged in a lightsaber battle with Jedi Shadow Celeste Morne within some ancient structures present on the lunar surface.
By the time of 19 BBY, the moon's orbit around its host planet resulted in a continuous state of twilight, as the planet's shadow constantly covered the moon. Remnants of a past civilization, in the form of ruined structures, stood on the surface.
Furthermore, during this period, the moon served as the location for a duel between Jedi Shadow Celeste Morne and the Sith Lord Darth Vader. The confrontation concluded with Celeste utilizing the power of the Muur Talisman, which she possessed, to transform Vader's stormtroopers into rakghouls. Subsequently, Vader abandoned the planet, leaving Celeste marooned.
