A Duros mercenary of the male persuasion joined the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk in a carefully planned ambush. This ambush targeted Lando Calrissian, the Baron Administrator of Cloud City. This event unfolded in 1 ABY, following Dominic Raynor's loss of Cloud City to the skilled sabacc gambler Calrissian. Raynor, convinced he was cheated, sought revenge by hiring Bossk to capture Calrissian, either dead or alive. The bounty hunter then assembled a team of fringers, which contained the aforementioned Duros, to Cloud City. There, they intended to execute their trap for the new Baron Administrator. The scheme involved luring Calrissian to a less maintained section of the city with a fabricated emergency call. In this lower level, the Duros and his accomplices launched their ambush on the Baron's group, but Calrissian managed to escape through a nearby hangar. Cloud City itself was the primary mining settlement on the planet Bespin.
During 1 ABY, specifically during the era of the Galactic Civil War, a Duros mercenary of the male variety was active. That year, Dominic Raynor, who previously held the position of Baron Administrator over the floating mining settlement known as Cloud City on the planet Bespin, lost his ownership of the city. This loss occurred during a game of sabacc against a highly skilled player, Lando Calrissian. Believing he had been cheated, Raynor engaged the services of Bossk, a Trandoshan bounty hunter, tasking him with capturing the gambler Calrissian, with instructions to bring him in dead or alive. Knowing that Calrissian, now the Baron Administrator, would have protection, Bossk recruited a team of mercenaries and cutthroats. This team included the Duros, a Twi'lek scoundrel, another Twi'lek of similar profession, and a Quarren assassin. Bossk's strategy involved using this team to manage any potential issues that might arise during their hunt.
The Duros, along with his associates, infiltrated Cloud City's security and established a trap intended to capture Calrissian within a less frequented maintenance section of the city. To lure the Baron Administrator into their trap, Bossk used the guise of the city's chief engineer. He initiated a false emergency call via the city's communication channels, informing Calrissian that a critical repulsorlift pod was failing and threatened the entire structure of the floating settlement. Responding to this perceived crisis, Calrissian proceeded to the maintenance level, accompanied by his Twi'lek bodyguard and four members of the Bespin Wing Guards as a precaution.
Uncertain about which turbolift Calrissian would use, Bossk instructed the Duros and the rest of the team to position themselves in all the rooms near the lifts. Bossk also ordered the team members to remain visible, acting as bait to draw Calrissian out, while he remained hidden, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. As Calrissian's group entered the maintenance level, a blast door abruptly sealed behind them. The Duros and his companions then initiated blaster fire on Calrissian's guards. The guards chose to engage the attackers, allowing the Baron Administrator to escape through a nearby hangar. A distress call was sent by a member of Calrissian's party, summoning another squad of Wing Guards. With the arrival of reinforcements, Calrissian successfully evaded the ambush by fleeing through the hangar.

The character of the Duros was featured in Sore Loser's Revenge, an online scenario for Wizards.com penned by Eric Cagle. This scenario was designed for the Star Wars Miniatures collectible tabletop strategy game in 2004. The game involves one player controlling Calrissian's group, while another player controls Bossk's team, including the Duros. The Duros is represented by a generic Duros Mercenary miniature figure from the Miniatures set Rebel Storm. The character's fate is determined by the actions of the players.
