During the early years of the Galactic Empire, a solitary and highly skilled killer made his home on a swamp world. Accompanying him was a single, permanent partner, a reptilian being with red skin.
In the months that followed the Declaration of a New Order, a rich business owner, accompanied by 18 soldiers of fortune, sought him out at his secluded residence. Their aim was to enlist his services to murder Darth Vader as revenge for the death of his son. The assassin remained hidden as they conversed with his associate. As a warning to the industrialist to leave, he then eliminated the entire mercenary guard with a dagger, silently stabbing each of them in the back. Despite this act of violence, the industrialist became even more determined to hire him, offering to pay any sum. The assassin then demanded the removal of the industrialist's eyes and ears as his fee.

Subsequently, he attempted to ambush Vader and two Imperial Guards at a remote cantina while they were investigating the reasons behind a failed murder plot against Emperor Palpatine. However, when one of the Heinsnake followers detonated himself to prevent Vader from uncovering the details of their scheme, the assassin was compelled to let his targets escape, narrowly avoiding injury in the blast.
He later tracked Vader to the satellite where the Heinsnake Cult was based, and silently eliminated the last remaining Royal Guard (the other Royal Guard had been crushed by local wildlife shortly after their arrival). However, Vader detected his presence. The assassin then waited outside the temple. After Vader annihilated the Heinsnake Cult, he pursued Vader, although a stampede of animals on the doomed moon slowed him down. He eventually engaged Darth Vader in a duel but was defeated by the Dark Lord despite his best efforts.
The assassin was highly proficient with edged weapons, but had no interest in material possessions. Instead, his only condition was that his clients, after hiring him, would never see or hear from him again. This was achieved by removing their sight and hearing.
