Unidentified Force-sensitive child

A youngling with a connection to the Force, who was sensitive to it, resided on the world of Orto in the final century of the Galactic Republic's existence. Before the year 103 BBY, the Jedi Master known as Unskette, along with his Padawan, Thame Cerulian, encountered this child while they were both present on Orto. Acknowledging the baby's aptitude for Jedi training, they expressed a desire to bring the child into the ranks of the Jedi Order. Nevertheless, the child's parents declined to relinquish their child, even resorting to throwing rocks at the two Jedi to make them leave. Cerulian later documented this incident within his personal edition of The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force book, noting that he and his mentor had referred the child's situation to the Jedi High Council.
