During the Fondor shipyard assault, the Rebel Alliance deployed a GR-75 medium transport. This particular transport was altered to operate autonomously, which was a key element of the plan. Rogue Squadron, piloting commandeered TIE Hunters, would accompany the ostensibly captured transport to a shield station. This station was situated at the shipyards where they were building a version of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought series. The plan was for the transport to be set on a collision course with the aforementioned shield station. Initially, Rogue Squadron attempted to deceive the Imperial commander into believing the transport's story, but the commander and his team saw through the ruse. Their suspicions were aroused because no prisoners were scheduled for processing for several days, and scans revealed a complete absence of lifeforms onboard. Consequently, Rogue Squadron had to defend the transport from incoming Imperial fighters until it successfully crashed into the shield station. The collision caused significant damage, leading to a malfunction in the station's doors.
