During the final millennium of the Galactic Republic, a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order, specifically a Jedi Consular, was a woman. In 181 BBY, this Knight and her Padawan were sent to end the Dark Jedi Conflict. This conflict had begun in 188 BBY when the Dark Jedi Kibh Jeen and his pirate army declared war against the people of the Cularin system. The Jedi pair organized the system's inhabitants into a capable fighting unit and set a trap for Jeen's army. In a major space battle, the pirates were vanquished, and the two Jedi faced and killed Jeen.
