A tradesman from Krozurbia procured a collection of thookahs that had been nourished with savorium by the Ithorian scientist Zorneth. He then provided them to the Krozurbian War Council, which subsequently led to the termination of the Krozurbian war.

The seller was at the marketplace when he encountered the Ithorian scientist Zorneth along with his protocol droid C-3PO. Through C-3PO, the merchant bargained with Zorneth to acquire Zorneth's assembly of thookahs, pointing out that despite their good-looking coats, they appeared underweight. Zorneth, being a vegetarian, responded that his thookahs were raised for their wool, not for their meat. Before their discussion could progress, "Smiley," someone under Zorneth's care who had become permanently joyful and non-violent due to the effects of savorium herb, was almost abducted by Targonnian operatives. After "Smiley" was saved, Zorneth chose to sell his thookah group at a financial loss and leave immediately.
Without the merchant's knowledge, these thookahs had consumed savorium, giving their meat the same euphoric properties as the herb. These thookahs were slaughtered and transformed into steaks, which were served to the Krozurbian War Council, leading them to put an end to two centuries of war as a direct consequence.
Like other Krozurbians, the merchant had green skin. However, unlike some Krozurbians on the War Council, he possessed red eyes. He was a forceful negotiator, quickly identifying flaws in Zorneth's thookahs and ultimately compelling the scientist to sell the herd at a reduced price to finalize the transaction.
The merchant was dressed in a blue uniform featuring gold trim on the shoulders and collar, along with a triangular symbol on the left side of his chest. Cloth coverings protected his wrists and feet.
Jan Strnad conceived the Krozurbian merchant for his comic book Droids (1995) 5, which was released by Dark Horse Comics in 1995. Bill Hughes provided the illustration of the character. Other individuals of the merchant's species appeared in a retrospective panel in issue 4, where their designation, "Krozurbians," and the outcome of the merchant's acquisition from Zorneth were both confirmed.
