Unidentified Mandalore (Durge)

At a specific time, the figure heading the Aka'liit faction within the Mandalorian warrior culture, known as the Mandalore, was an individual. Around 132 BBY, Durge, the Gen'Dai bounty hunter with a considerable lifespan and a deep-seated animosity toward the Mandalorians, was contracted to kill the Mandalore, for whose capture a bounty had been promised; he successfully completed this assignment. However, the Mandalore's adherents retaliated against the bounty hunter, capturing and immobilizing him. They then tortured the Gen'Dai to such a degree that it rendered him mentally unsound, necessitating nearly a century of hibernation to recover physically.

Behind the scenes

The StarWars.com Databank entry dedicated to Durge, released sometime before October 24, 2003, initially made mention of the Mandalore.
