Unidentified Quarren informant

A source who was a male Quarren was working for the Senate Guard in 32 BBY. This operative went undercover within the Black Heth organization, which was based on the planet of Coruscant. However, his true identity was discovered, leading to his capture. The Jedi Padawan named Obi-Wan Kenobi was dispatched on a rescue mission to extract the informant from the construction site where he was being held. As Kenobi began his infiltration, his Jedi Master, Qui-Gon Jinn, contacted him, warning the younger Jedi against causing any disruptions, as the Black Heth might kill the informant; Kenobi was able to monitor the informant through his comlink. Subsequently, Kenobi fought his way deeper into the location, neutralizing the Black Heth members and their droids before they could activate an alarm. At that moment, the Quarren was undergoing interrogation in an attempt to reveal his true allegiance. Kenobi successfully saved the informant just before his scheduled execution. Expressing his gratitude to the young Jedi, the informant disclosed that the Black Heth was involved in importing weaponry. Following this, both of them departed from the facility.

Master Jinn described the Quarren as a "brave friend".
