Black Heth

In the year 32 BBY, the Jin'ha utilized a Coruscant street gang, commonly known as the Black Heth, as a facade for their operations. Mace Windu characterized the Black Heth as minor offenders, notorious for instilling fear among the innocent populace near Elcor Station.

History

On Coruscant, the Black Heth operated as a brutal criminal organization. Several weeks before the events of 32 BBY, Obi-Wan Kenobi, still a Padawan under the tutelage of Qui-Gon Jinn, was dispatched as part of his training to gather intel on the rise of gang activity in the underlevels of Coruscant. He tracked a Trandoshan leader belonging to the Black Heth to a hovertrain situated in Elcor Station, where Kenobi triumphed over him. Subsequently, Kenobi was tasked with rescuing an undercover informant who had infiltrated the criminal syndicate. Obi-Wan descended from an incomplete structure until he arrived at the level where the informant was being held captive. Despite being overwhelmed by numerous thugs of various species, including Gran, Trandoshan, Aqualish, and Kubaz individuals, he ultimately prevailed. The informant then disclosed the Black Heth's alliance with the Jin'ha, who were actively inciting violence among Coruscant's gangs in an attempt to divert the attention of the Jedi Order. Upon arriving at the location where the Black Heth were receiving weaponry from the Jin'ha, Kenobi faced an assault from Black Heth gang members. After subduing them, he was then attacked by Jin'ha warriors, who he also defeated. During the investigation, Kenobi also came across E4 baron droids.
