Unidentified Republic soldier (Hrakert Station)
This particular individual served as a Republic soldier. He was stationed at the clandestine Hrakert Station, which was situated on the seabed of Manaan, not far from the Hrakert Rift. When the Progenitor initiated the transmission of powerful signals through the Force, which manifested as "demon screams," the Selkath stationed at this underwater facility succumbed to madness and began assaulting all moving entities. While many non-Selkath perished amidst the resulting pandemonium, this soldier successfully sought sanctuary inside a durasteel locker located within the station's enviro-suit storage area. This deeply disturbing ordeal triggered a severe mental collapse, rendering him unstable, paranoid, and susceptible to episodes of uncontrollable, frenzied laughter. During his quest for the Rakatan Star Map on Manaan, Revan encountered him. However, Revan was unable to convince him to abandon the perceived safety of his locker, as the soldier's trauma proved resistant to even the most potent applications of Force Persuasion.
Behind the scenes

The only "appearance" of this nameless man occurs in the "Hrakert Station" section of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, where he is identified as "Whimpering Locker" in the game's subtitle text.
Players are presented with the option to threaten the soldier with death. Should they choose this path, the soldier will assert his invulnerability. Soon after, the player gains the option to "Insert lightsaber into locker," resulting in his demise and pushing the player further towards the dark side of the Force. Furthermore, the game spawns a model of a dead Human male wearing a Republic soldier's uniform at the base of the locker. Oddly, the game's subtitles attribute the soldier's death scream to "Locker object" rather than "Whimpering Locker."
