This Shadow Guard, whose name is unknown, was a male Human who served as an Emperor's Shadow Guard. His assignment placed him at the Imperial Ore Facility located on Raxus Prime. During the facility storming by Galen Marek, Darth Vader's apprentice, a duel ensued, resulting in the guard's death.
Sometime prior to the events described, this individual attained the rank of member within the Emperor's Shadow Guard, considered an elite division within the larger Emperor's Royal Guard. In the year 2 BBY, he found himself stationed at the Imperial Ore Facility situated on the planet of Raxus Prime, a world primarily composed of scrap. His duties kept him in the ore cannon control room. However, Galen Marek, the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, entered the facility, defeating the Imperial Navy commandos, Imperial heavy troopers, Imperial jumptroopers, and Imperial medics stationed there. Upon reaching the ore cannon control room, a battle commenced between Marek and the Shadow Guard. Ultimately, Marek emerged victorious, using the Force to hurl the guard into a pool of molten ore.
Being a Shadow Guard, he demonstrated skill using a lightsaber pike, which he wielded during their confrontation. Furthermore, the guardsman possessed a degree of Force sensitivity, allowing him to generate purple Force lightning and execute a Force choke. Nonetheless, his capabilities proved insufficient to overcome Marek's superior power.
This particular Shadow Guard only appears in the Wii and PS2 versions of the video game Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. In the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, PROXY, a malfunctioning droid employing combat data of the Shadow Guard, serves as Galen Marek's opponent instead.
