Re:Simple Tricks

Regarding Simple Tricks, I recall making some edits to the Kyp Durron article. If you feel the information is inaccurate, feel free to remove it—that's the beauty of a Wiki. Regards, Greyman(Paratus) 20:06, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

  • You have a sharp eye; I simply didn't put in the effort to address the others, haha. :P Greyman (Paratus) 23:36, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Is Vetinari similar to the character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels? —Unsigned comment by 82.83.197.79 (talk • contribs).

  • Perhaps ;) Vetinari (Appointment) 22:41, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

I altered the signature because I was the one who initially posed the question (which hasn't been answered yet^^), so revert it if you wish. See SFH's page for further details^^ --The IP 14:42, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Quay

  • My apologies for the delayed response to your message. Regarding the two appearances I mentioned for the Day of the Sepulchral Night (Quay and repulsor-belt), here are the relevant excerpts:

Image

My assessment is that it's Mara Jade. It's the larger version of the image I added to her article. --Eyrezer 01:53, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Warship analog

  • Response is available here . Oops. I overlooked that. I suggest adding it to the template's list and redirecting it to the warship page for the time being. Similar to dreadnaught analog , it isn't among the core terms used to describe all the YV ships during the Battle of the Black Bantha in Star by Star , leading me to believe it's likely a sub-type of destroyer analog , given that "destroyer" and "warship" are used interchangeably for large YV ships; however, it truly warrants its own dedicated page eventually. -- McEwok 15:36, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

RE: The Longest Fall

There was a reference to the "Emperor's most prestigious fleet," which I think was Death Squadron. Tank 16:10, 8 January 2008 (UTC)_

  • That's correct, but I don't recall any other Imperial fleets being labeled as the most prestigious besides Death Squadron...but if you disagree, feel free to modify it as you see fit. Tank 14:36, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Re: Felth

Indeed, a good observation. I failed to include that link, but I will rectify that now. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:23, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Re:

My understanding is that it is not intended as an in-universe narrative or depiction. I consider it similar to any officially licensed Lucasfilm event with a storyline. Including it in the Appearances section of, for instance, Luke Skywalker, could lead to the addition of numerous similar out-of-universe appearances to his article, in my opinion. Naturally, if it has its own article on the site, it should be mentioned in the "behind the scenes" section of the relevant articles. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 23:55, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • The primary distinction, in my view, lies in the show's out-of-universe nature, as it doesn't present itself as a story within the Star Wars universe. It's not a significant issue, and I'll gladly concede if others disagree, but I believe including it in the appearances sections is beneficial because it establishes a precedent for other similar non-canon but Lucasfilm shows that aren't genuinely set in SW. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 00:13, June 4, 2010 (UTC) That's a reasonable point. It's not crucial enough for me to insist, even though I still believe it's a poor choice. Initiating a discussion on the talk page would likely be a good way to gauge general sentiment, though. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 10:40, June 4, 2010 (UTC)
