need help
Hi, it's beast4012 here. I need instructions on how to reach an administrator on this wiki. Thanks
- You can make a post on Forum:Administrators' noticeboard . If your message, similar to the other messages you've posted on various talk pages, concerns recruiting individuals to your wiki or expressing dissatisfaction with the administration of another website, it will be removed, and you might be blocked. Additionally, since I am not an administrator on this site, I am not the appropriate person to address any administrative matters related to this wiki. — Silly Dan (talk) 00:20, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
WEG D6 material
Should you require any of the West End Games D6 System materials, I possess the majority of it and can arrange for you to borrow some of the sourcebooks. Please get in touch with me by sending an email to darth.borehd at gmail dot com.
I am a great admirer of the Charon and the Otherspace module. I am in the process of adapting it to function as a SAGA edition campaign.—Unsigned comment by Darth borehd (talk • contribs).
- Thank you, but I already have all the WEG resources I need. I hope you enjoy your campaign! — Silly Dan (talk) 23:12, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
Concerning the Aliens project...
Is there anything specific I have to do in order to participate in this project, or can I simply add my name to the list of participants? Thanks, --Talrrivanian (Headquarters) 14:58, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
- You could simply include your name on the list. However, it might be wiser to select an article, examine the criteria for "Comprehensive", "Good", and "Featured" articles, and commence the nomination procedure before adding your name to the list. — Silly Dan (talk) 23:12, July 22, 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks a bunch!-- Talrrivanian (Headquarters) 06:56, July 23, 2011 (UTC)
Essay
Hi Dan,
To continue documenting our FA history, I am requesting and encouraging you to update your personal FA statistics here when you have time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks.—Tommy 9281 Sunday, August 21, 2011, 10:45 UTC
Request
Hey, Dan. How are you? I have something I'd like to ask you.
Now that we've reached 100,000 articles, I'm planning to write an article for Wookieepedia NewsNet reflecting on our journey by looking back at the early days of the Wook. To that end, I'm reaching out to as many of the earliest (I hope you don't mind me calling you that) Wookieepedians as possible and asking them to share their thoughts.
This is a broad question, but I'm wondering if you could share your early experiences on the Wook and your impressions of the site during its first few years. I'm looking for something longer than a quick quote but shorter than a short story, as I'd like to include as many people as possible. Humor and wit are, of course, welcome. If you're interested, feel free to share, and if not, no worries. Thanks, and have a good day! Menkooroo (talk) 15:44, January 12, 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your message. If I can come up with anything to contribute, I will let you know. I am looking forward to reading the article! — Silly Dan (talk) 04:04, January 13, 2013 (UTC)
Blizzard Scout 4
Hi Silly Dan, I noticed a while ago that you deleted a page created by another user called Blizzard Scout 4, citing a lack of verification as the reason. I've recently discovered evidence suggesting that the name originates from the cancelled Decipher CCG Reflections Gold. I'm unsure of the legitimacy of these sources, but they appear to be too elaborate for fan-created content. There is also a significant amount of names in the lore sections attributed to previously unidentified characters. I'm not sure how (or if) we should source/integrate this into articles, but I thought you might find it interesting. See:

- I'm sorry, but I can't recall any further details surrounding a deletion that occurred so long ago. However, if your sources indicate that it is from a cancelled CCG expansion set, I would assume that the lore from those cards is not canon unless Leland Chee or a similar Lucasfilm official confirms that the information was entered into the Holocron before the set was cancelled. If it is not there, the information could be mentioned in BTS or in our articles on the Decipher CCG. It's possible that it was deleted because the only sources provided at the time were the fan-produced "Virtual Cards," which were approved by Decipher for tournament play but were never approved by Lucasfilm as a source of canon lore. We had one or two users who were insistent on adding all sorts of unnecessary Virtual Cards info on this wiki. Anyway, thank you for following up on this! —Silly Dan (talk) 13:04, February 13, 2013 (UTC) No problem, I may just have to file it away in things I'd ask Leland if ever given an opportunity. Wookiepédia, version en français
Bonjour Silly Dan, I'm contacting you because you seem to be one of the French-speaking contributors to Wookieepedia. I wanted to inform you of the existence of Wookiepédia_fr, the "French version" of this wiki, and at the same time invite you to come and give us a hand if you feel like it :) (creation, translation, organization...) Your experience on Wookieepedia would be a great help! See you soon I hope Trazeris (talk) 14:40, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, but in fact, my French is only at an intermediate level, and I need to use a dictionary to understand it. Therefore, I can read most of your articles and discussions, but I don't think I can write for Wookiepédia. However, good luck, and I hope that the Force is with you. — Silly Dan (talk) 15:10, July 3, 2013 (UTC) (For example, I'm pretty sure that I've mistranslated "Good luck, and may the Force be with you" there.) —Silly Dan (talk) 15:40, July 3, 2013 (UTC) Oh ok. No actually it's a pretty good translation :) Trazeris (talk) 16:02, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
Earth system
I'll allow you to merge in-universe details about Earth into the Earth (Star Tours) article (excluding Uurtha, possibly). However, I believe we should keep the Earth system and Indiana Jones's system separate until Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn actually appear in something like Star Tours: The Adventures Continue (i.e., something that is definitively canon or technical canon instead of flat-out non-canon). If we were to merge the two, we would likely create an even larger mess due to the presence of three other planets in that system that have yet to appear in a canon work. I doubt the wiki allows for two infoboxes, and combining canon and non-canon information is likely inappropriate. Weedle McHairybug (talk) 13:34, August 16, 2013 (UTC)
RE: Transport London
My apologies! I was in the process of copying the new Star Wars Blog post into the sources of all the relevant articles but was interrupted by an email and forgot that I had something copied, which overwrote the source. I have corrected it on all affected articles! Ayrehead02 (talk) 16:39, November 22, 2013 (UTC)

Reliable sources TC
Hey, I'm just letting you know that the Reliable sources TC has been modified to redirect the page instead of deleting it entirely. Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 17:18, May 4, 2014 (UTC)

Urthha
Hi, Dan. I'm leaving it to you to handle any necessary merging for the Urthha article. Thanks. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:07, May 26, 2014 (UTC)
- Sounds good -- I'll take care of it this evening. Thanks! — Silly Dan (talk) 20:22, May 26, 2014 (UTC)
