Hello! Just a friendly reminder that, according to the Layout Guide, plot summaries should utilize the present tense, unlike the past tense which is typically used in other articles. Thanks, Xd1358 (Talk) 21:43, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Hey there, the "Choose Your Destiny" books (the physical copies) all have audiobook versions. These can be accessed through Amazon Kids+. Interestingly, the Han & Chewie audiobook is available for free, even without a Kids+ subscription. Simply try asking Alexa to “play Star Wars Choose Your Destiny”. I'm a bit surprised that pages haven't been created for these yet (I intended to get around to it), but they certainly do exist.
I looked for them the other day but had no luck, but that was likely my mistake. If you were successful in finding them, that's fantastic.
- Hello! Yes, I share that frustration. The credits are not provided upon completing an adventure/mission. I've attempted to ask Alexa for information about the credits, narrator, release date, and run time, but without success. I contacted Cavan's assistant, who also inquired with him, but they were unable to assist. I've also submitted feedback through the Alexa app, requesting that the skill page be updated with this information. I encourage you to do the same by navigating to "More", then "Skills & Games", scrolling to the bottom to "Your Skills", locating and clicking on CYD, and scrolling to the bottom to "Send Feedback". I haven't yet contacted Disney. The narrator's voice sounds familiar, and if they are performing all the voices, they are exceptionally talented. I suspect a full cast is involved. Rebelcrimsonbear ( talk ) 13:19, 11 July 2024 (UTC) Hey, yeah I suspected you might encounter some difficulties with those. I sincerely appreciate all the effort you've dedicated to those pages. Thank you! ThePedantry (talk) 21:45, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
Hello ThePedantry! Firstly, I want to express my gratitude for your contributions to Wookipedia! I've noticed your creation of several articles about real-world individuals, and I wanted to inform you that we have a specific layout guide tailored for these types of articles. Specifically, regarding the "Works" section, our standard practice is to utilize a table format instead of bullet points. Furthermore, the "External links" section follows a particular order for listing items to maintain consistency across the site. Should you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact me via my talk page or on Wookipedia's Discord server! Happy editing, and best wishes! Bonzane10 02:25, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, ThePedantry! You've been doing an awesome job creating a lot of new articles about real people! Just a quick addition to Bonzane's message above, as per the Layout Guide, please ensure that there is a space in the reused references (e.g., instead of ). Keep up the fantastic work, and happy editing! AnilSerifoglu ( talk ) 08:37, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello ThePedantry! Regarding these two edits, can we confirm that these are indeed abridged versions? The retailer links on both Random House pages seem to suggest they are unabridged. AnilSerifoglu (talk) 12:26, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I have recently listened to both of the books as part of my audiobook crew credits task, and both books three & four include "Abridgement was arranged by Kevin Thomsen " within their credits. In contrast, the initial two books lack these credits and specifically state "unabridged" on their respective audiobook covers. While I don't believe a significant amount was removed, I think it's reasonable to classify them as abridged. ThePedantry ( talk ) 16:20, 10 July 2024 (UTC) Thanks for responding! Hey there - thanks for your work in adding disambiguation headers to film media articles! I'm just letting you know that having both a Youmay template for the film and an Otheruses template is somewhat redundant. Therefore, I will be using my bot to remove the Youmay templates from those articles, leaving only the Otheruses template. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 22:36, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, my primary reason for adding the Youmay templates was to highlight the most closely related articles, such as the audiobook and its source novel, or the novelization and the source film/episode. The Otheruses template is then used for general disambiguation. While there is some redundancy, it exposes users to the most likely article they are seeking, potentially saving them a trip to the disambiguation page. Essentially, it's a small quality-of-life improvement, at least that was my thinking. — ThePedantry ( talk ) 00:58, 20 July 2024 (UTC) I understand that counterpoint, but we want to avoid overcrowding the headers section. Disambiguation templates are typically used in situations where a reader might have unintentionally landed on the article while searching for something else. Regarding film media, I should also mention that the film itself is almost always linked in the introduction anyway, so users can easily find that article through that link. So I noticed your creation of the Quellus and Sparth pages from the short story Bakurat. I'm curious, did the story refer to them as planets or simply as worlds? I'm attempting to add them to the List of planets, but the world entry lacks the appropriate formatting, while the planet entry has a planet-stub tag. I'm a bit confused. Jpercy (talk) 7:10, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, I've just updated both to utilize generic stubs instead of planet stubs. Both receive only very minor mentions. The line for Quellus is literally just: "transport her from the ice moon of Tarolax to an abandoned monitoring station on Quellus". And Sparth is simply described as "Misette was raised in the undercity of Sparth" - ThePedantry ( talk ) 21:23, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
Excellent work in identifying the names of the two pirates featured in the recent Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode! Best of luck in locating the Dowager Alien and Bubbles! (Hobbiton777 (talk) 16:20, 2 January 2025 (UTC))

Thank you! I will definitely need more information on Bubbles to figure out which on they are
