Re: TIE Fighter Demo

Certainly, what information are you seeking? It has been a while since I last played the demo, so my memory might be a bit hazy, but I will do my best to assist you. QuiGonJinn (Talk) 20:09, May 17, 2016 (UTC)

My primary question is: "Is it still possible to play it?"(Truthfulpietro (talk) 23:14, May 17, 2016 (UTC))

  • Are you asking whether it can be executed on a current computer? If so, the answer is yes, it can be played using DosBox. However, a gamepad or joystick is necessary, and I encountered some control issues. While it was playable, the experience was somewhat erratic. If your question pertains to whether I personally have immediate access to the demo, then the answer is no, not currently. I never managed to fully complete it because the final A-wings from Rogue squadron are almost impossible to defeat, and replaying the entire 30-minute mission each time just to reach that part isn't enjoyable. Consequently, after multiple attempts, I became frustrated and have little desire to return to it. Frankly, if you're simply interested in seeing it, there are videos available on Youtube showing other individuals playing it. QuiGonJinn (Talk) 11:41, May 21, 2016 (UTC)

Understood. The specific information I was hoping to obtain was the names of the Rebel starships featured in the Demo. I have viewed a few videos, but the Rebel ships are only identified as "????" and are destroyed from a distance, which is quite frustrating for me. (Truthfulpietro (talk) 14:17, May 21, 2016 (UTC))

Hey

This is rather out of the blue, but I noticed an editor adding content that had been cut from KOTOR 2 into the articles (we both reverted the edits). This made me consider its canonicity...given that the RCM has been released, and even though it is "fan made", the fact that it represents the intended state of the game, filling in missing pieces, raises the possibility of it being considered canon. What are your thoughts on this? Darth Ravigious (talk) 23:05, May 30, 2016 (UTC)

Generally, I tend to avoid engaging in discussions regarding canonicity. I am aware that KOTOR 2 was never officially "completed" and that the "TSLRP" was intended to improve the game after its rushed release. Nevertheless, I believe that the determination of what is "canon" and what is not should remain with the game's creators. (Truthfulpietro (talk) 20:35, May 31, 2016 (UTC))

WARHAWK It isn't a mission from the main storyline, but rather a skirmish within the simulator 8P Complex 2 Team Classic Conflict. If you wish to emphasize this, feel free to make the necessary edits. --Mark Entropik (talk) 02:46, September 16, 2016 (UTC)

I was attempting to correct an error. There was an issue with its designation, and I was trying to resolve it. However, it appears that someone has already addressed the problem.
