Vandos, a planetary body situated within the Vandos system in the Outer Rim Territories, was a planet. During the era of the Clone Wars, control of this planet was held by the Separatists.
In the year 20 BBY, the Galactic Republic dispatched a group of Jedi Knights to this location. The Jedi sent included Jmmaar, Flynn Kybo, and his Master, T'chooka D'oon, accompanied by a battalion of clone troopers. Their assignment was a rescue operation, aimed at extracting Ambassador Quiyyen from the clutches of the Separatist forces stationed there.
However, the mission was revealed to be a cleverly designed trap. They were ambushed by General Grievous, who was supported by numerous B2 super battle droids. During the ensuing conflict, both T'chooka D'oon and Jmmaar met their demise. Flynn Kybo, however, managed to successfully escape with Quiyyen and return him to the safety of the Republic.
