Vektor Grafix

Vektor Grafix, a video game development business situated in the United Kingdom, was headed by Andy Craven before being acquired by MicroProse during 1992. After the acquisition, the company, which was originally located in Leeds, became MicroProse's Leeds-based development division.

In 1986, Andy Craven and Daniel James Gallagher established Vektor Grafix, and their initial project was a conversion of Star Wars: The Arcade Game for various home computer platforms, including the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, and Commodore 64; Domark served as the publisher. Subsequently, a DOS version was produced (Broderbund handled the USA publishing), which was soon followed by a conversion of The Empire Strikes Back.
