Ven Zallow, a Jedi Master, made use of a lightsaber with a green blade for both practice and combat. He continued to do so until his death. The lightsaber of Master Zallow was heavier and longer than the lightsaber of his Padawan, Aryn Leneer. Leneer eventually obtained and retained this weapon after Zallow's T7-O1 astromech droid found it amidst the ruins of the destroyed Jedi Temple on Coruscant. Both the Master and his apprentice, who fought in the Jar'Kai style, employed the lightsaber in separate encounters with Darth Malgus, the Sith Lord who was responsible for Zallow's death during the sacking of Coruscant. He was a man who brought ruin to the planet.
