The Vengeance-class frigate was a type of starship that saw use by Tyber Zann and his criminal organization during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
These vessels were capable of activating a cloak due to technology procured by Zann on the black market. A significant drawback to this cloaking capability was the complete absence of shields. To compensate for this vulnerability, the frigates were constructed with exceptionally strong armor plating. However, this heavy armor significantly reduced their speed, making them quite slow compared to other ships of their class.
In addition to this, the ships featured mass drivers that could penetrate enemy ray shields, as well as the more common turbolasers. Finally, Vengeance-class frigates had the capacity to initiate a self-destruct sequence by overloading their core in dire circumstances.
