Vespaara Row

Vespaara Row, situated on Vespaara, served a dual purpose in 9 ABY: it functioned as both a residential area and an impromptu arena for the Hunters of the Outer Rim. The area's architecture included several buildings; specifically, four buildings and their respective rooftops were utilized as the designated battleground. These buildings were the official Hunters Merch Store, the Vespaara Tours Loading Zone, the Hypernova power station, and the ORSN broadcast station.

Description

Located on the planet Vespaara, Vespaara Row acted as both a residential zone and a temporary battlefield. The location was characterized by four corner buildings, separated by narrow passages. An elevated relay bridge connected two of these corner buildings, specifically the Loading Zone and the ORSN broadcast station, with the Merch Store and Hypernova power station making up the remaining two corners.

History

The competitive sporting event Hunters of the Outer Rim repurposed Vespaara Row in 9 ABY into a makeshift combat arena.

Behind the scenes

Vespaara Row initially appeared as a playable map in the canon video game Star Wars: Hunters. NaturalMotion's BossAlien developed the game, and Zynga published it. The map's initial release occurred on November 16, 2021, as a soft launch in select regions, preceding its global debut on June 4, 2024. Version 1.0.0 of the game, which coincided with the global launch, included the map. Prior to its inclusion in the update, StarWars.com featured an exclusive interview with art director Dominic Estephane, where the map was initially revealed.
