The vibroknuckler represented a vibro weapon design produced by the Czerka Arms corporation. Its design featured a blade, measuring four centimeters in length, secured to a metallic structure that allowed a hand to pass through it. A user could activate the vibroknuckler by simply making a fist. Although the blade didn't extend the reach of the user, it rendered their attacks nearly unblockable for anyone without a weapon. Furthermore, forcibly removing the weapon from the user proved to be exceedingly challenging.
The vibroknuckler received its initial mention within the current Star Wars canon through Gadgets and Gear. This sourcebook, a supplement for the Star Wars Roleplaying game series, was brought to publication by Fantasy Flight Games during the year 2019. Its debut appearance occurred in the short story "Beyond the Clouds," penned by Lilliam Rivera and included in the 2020 anthology, From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back.
Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the vibroknuckler first appeared in The Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology. This reference book was made available on November 4, 1997.
